If you wish, you can enable all rules one by one.

AutoMod Templates

Not sure what rules you want to enable? No worries! We've got some templates.

Simply choose one that best fits your server's needs, apply it, change some required settings and save changes. Easy as that!

AutoMod Wizard

Are you unsure what rule you want to enable? With the AutoMod Wizard, you can get the perfect rules for your server's needs!

The AutoMod Wizard will ask a few simple questions, where you can quickly configure the perfect rules for your server. That's right, you can create multiple rules with the AutoMod Wizard!

Testing AutoMod Rules

Want to know if your AutoMod rule works on specific words or phrases? You can use the 'Test Your Rules' section on the dashboard. Simply add your word or phrase in there and see what it does.

AutoMod Settings

There are a few basic settings that you can use in the settings tab. To access the settings tab, press it after selecting a server.

Authorized Managers

Authorized managers can access your server's AutoMod system through the InfinityBot dashboard without needing the manage server or administrator permissions.

You can add a new manager with the steps below:

1

First of all, press the "Add New Manager" button.

2

After that, a window will pop up. Enter the user ID in there of the user that you would like to add as manager.

3

After you entered the ID, it should load up the user's profile. If it is the correct user, press "Add Manager" and confirm your action.

Added managers that do not have the manage server or administrator permissions in the server are not able to add or remove any other managers.

Default Settings

Default settings can be used to save settings across all AutoMod rules. This means you will not have to set up settings for every rule separately.

Actions

In these fields you can select what you want Discord to do when a message triggers this AutoMod rule. A few fields should be filled in:

  • Default Custom Block Message, this message will be shown as reason when a user's message gets blocked.

  • Default Logging Channels, in the channel that you select here, Discord will send a notification whenever a user breaks an AutoMod rule in your server.

  • Default Timeout Duration, this is the duration a user will be blocked from sending messages in your server after they broke an AutoMod rule.

Exemptions

  • Default Exempt Channels, the channels and categories that you select here will be ignored by your server's AutoMod system.

  • Default Exempt Roles, the users that have roles that you select here will be ignored by your server's AutoMod system.
