Announcements - 20th November, 2023

Hey everyone, We are aware of an issue with InfinityBot's /ticket-setup and /server-setup commands that can cause the bot to crash or increase the response time after using these commands. At the moment we are unable to do anything about this, because this problem is not on our side, but here is a guide on how you can still use those two commands:

1. Use one of the two commands, this will not work and you will see an error `”This application did not respond”.`

2. After seeing that error message, use the !prefix command by sending it in the same channel and wait for a response.

3. After InfinityBot has responded to the command, use the command from step 1 again.

We don’t guarantee this will always work, but this is the best we have right now. Obviously this is not the convenience you are used to from InfinityBot, so we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello everyone, We have changed the structure of our OpenAI and InfinityBot4 token storage. We took this action after a dangerous bug was found by @the developer, (thanks for that) that allowed the tokens to be leaked. We had to replace all `Authorization` headers with the new tokens, but it is of course possible that we have missed the headers. Is a ChatGPT feature, image generation or messages sent by InfinityBot4 not working? Report it in #🐛| bugs! Thanks!

Free InfinityBot Premium - 15th October, 2023

Hey everyone,

We have a problem; InfinityBot inspires trust through his verified checkmark, but InfinityBot2 doesn’t do that yet. We would like to have him verified as quickly as possible too, but for that he must be in at least 665 servers. That’s the reason we now give FREE premium subscriptions* to server owners! The only requirement for your server is: You already have InfinityBot in your server. Make a ticket if you are interested!

*You won’t get every feature from premium, you only get access to InfinityBot2 and its features. (No role or custom command)

Anti Nuke system coming soon! - 9th October, 2023

We are planning on developing an anti nuke system for servers. This system may (Not sure about this) include protection for: Channel nukes, role nukes, ban and kick nukes.

Also we are planning on re-using @InfinityBot AntiNuke as a nuke bot to test our bot’s response time, because he doesn’t have any use right now.

!reaction -Add a nitro emoji to a message by reacting to it.

!pin -Pin a message by reacting to it.

!unpin -Unpin a message by reacting to it.

!snipe -Get information on the last deleted message. (You can disable this feature with the !snipe disable command)

You can view all commands with the `!prefix` command.

• Sorry for everyone who just got a message with a mention to me, little bug but the content is right, also read this message: Hey server owners, this is a message from the InfinityBot development team. As you may know (or not know), we have a leveling system that you can't disable. We want to make it this way so that users can disable this, but we cant use the old leveling system for that. We will have to reset the levels for all users on all servers, meaning that everyone will have level 0 from now on. However, we can restore your server levels, if you want our developers to restore your levels in the server, please join our support server, create a ticket and then our developers can do this for you. Sorry for this interruption and we thank you for using InfinityBot!

We are going to run a few tests with InfinityBot for prefix-commands the next weeks.

For everyone who does not know what that is, it is basically a command that starts with a $ or any other letter like /help or !help. (You just type that in chat)

No, we are not replacing already existing commands with this, we are just taking a look at the possibilities. It may happen that a command gets randomly activated by a glitch, it won't damage your server, its just a test, if this happends, please inform a support member! please note that InfinityBot is safe to use and that we are making sure we have enough check blocks before executing a prefix command. (sorry if this does not make any sense, more information comes later)

Ticket System

The ticket system is working again and has had a few of updates:

• Fixed several bugs.

• Claim button in tickets made *admin-only*.

• Various messages in tickets are now automatically pinned so you can find them easily.

• Everyone can now add or remove another member from a ticket with a button.

To also get this update in your ticket system; update your ticket system with the /ticket-setup command.

• InfinityBot now has a 10% chance of sending the "I saw that!" message after someone deletes a message instead of a 100% chance.

• You can now create reaction role messages, use /reaction-role-setup and fill in the fields. Questions? Open a ticket!

• New feature: Anonymously send server members a DM with InfinityBot. Required permissions: administrator. This new feature can be used, for example, to warn members anonymously.

• There is always a message underneath, "This message was sent by an admin of <your server name>"

• already sent DMs are now editable!

• You can now open a ticket in a chosen category. Choosing a category is done by running /ticket-setup again, and then note your category ID in the last new option.

We fixed an issue that caused our ticket system to stop working, refresh your ticket system by running the /ticket-setup command again.
