# Translation

The translation system allows you to translate all messages that are send in one channel into the other channel

## Setup

You can set up the system with the `/setup translation` command. 

| Command Option Name | Function                                                                                                                                  |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| option              | In this option you can select the action that you would like to take. To set up the translation system, select one of the 2 upper options |

After you used the command, you will get a menu:

In this menu, you can select the channel where users only send messages in English meaning it will not need translation. For example, `#english-general`.

After you selected that channel, you will get a new menu:

In this menu, you can select the channel where users send messages in a non-English language meaning it will need translation to the English channel. For example, `#Español-general`.

### How does it work?

The bot will now translate any message send by a user in the base channel (selected with menu 1) and send the translation to the translated channel (selected with menu 2)&#x20;
