# Event Manager

Event manager allowed you to create, edit, delete, start and end events with ease in Discord through the bot

## Manager Command

You can create, edit, end and delete events with the `/event manager` command. Check out the heads below to find out how to use the command. 

| Command Option Name | Function                                                                                                                              |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| action              | In this option you can enter what you want to do. You can create a new event, edit an event, start an event or end & delete an event. |

### Create a New Event

To create a new event, select the 'Create a new event' in the `action` option. After running the command, it will provide you with the form below.

| Form question     | Function                                                                                                               |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Event Name        | This will be the name of your event                                                                                    |
| Event Description | This will be the description for your event                                                                            |
| Event Location    | This is the location of your event. You can use plain text, links, or channel mentions                                 |
| Event Image       | In this option you can optionally enter a cover image for your event. This will be displayed when users open the event |

After this form, the bot will send a message. Simply press the button and the bot will give you another form.&#x20;

| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Start Time    | This will be the time your event starts. You can use a date (<kbd>YYYY</kbd>-<kbd>MM</kbd>-<kbd>DD</kbd>), a date with time (<kbd>YYYY</kbd>-<kbd>MM</kbd>-<kbd>DD</kbd>T<kbd>HH</kbd>:<kbd>MM</kbd>), or a time (1h, 1d). Time is in CET timezone |
| End Time      | This will be the time your event ends. You can use a date (<kbd>YYYY</kbd>-<kbd>MM</kbd>-<kbd>DD</kbd>), a date with time (<kbd>YYYY</kbd>-<kbd>MM</kbd>-<kbd>DD</kbd>T<kbd>HH</kbd>:<kbd>MM</kbd>), or a time (1h, 1d). Time is in CET timezone   |
| Repeat        | In this option, you can select whether or not you want the event to repeat                                                                                                                                                                         |

Your event should now have been created! Check it out or share it using the link provided by the bot.&#x20;

### Edit an Event

To edit a new event, select the 'Edit an event' in the `action` option. After running the command, it will provide you with the form below.&#x20;

| Event Name    | In this option, enter the name of the event you want to edit. This to make sure the bot can find it |

After this form, the bot will send a message. Simply press the button and the bot will give you another form.&#x20;

| Event Name        | In this option, you can enter the new name of your event. It will contain the current name of your event by default    |
| Event Description | In this option, you can enter the new description of your event. It will contain the current description of your event |
| Event Location    | This will be the new location of your event. It will contain the old event by default                                  |

After this, your event has been edited.&#x20;

### Start an Event

To start an event, select the 'Start an event' in the `action` option. After running the command, it will provide you with the form below.&#x20;

After running the command, it will start the selected event.&#x20;

### End or Delete an Event

To end or delete an event, select the 'End or delete an event' in the `action` option. After running the command, it will provide you with the form below.&#x20;

| Event Name    | In this option, enter the name of the event you want to end or delete. This to make sure the bot can find it |

After you run the command, the bot will ask you to confirm if it has selected the right event. If it has, press the 'confirm' button and the bot will end and delete your event.&#x20;

This option will actually delete your event, your event will not be visible anymore and this cannot be undone!
