# View Thread Perms

The view thread permission system allows you to easily manage who can view a private thread

## Setup

You can set up this system with the `/setup view-thread-perms` command.

| Command Option Name | Function                                                                                                                            |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| action              | In this option you can select the action you would like to take                                                                     |
| channel             | In this option you can select the channel to run your action on                                                                     |
| role                | In this option you can select a role that can view the thread                                                                       |
| allow-other-users   | In this option you can select whether or not you want the bot to allow users that do not have the role selected above in the thread |
