These are all updates from 2024!

'Removal' of the application and suggestion systems - December 31st, 2024

Hey all, we have decided to remove the applications (/application-setup) and suggestions (/suggestion-setup). We have done this because we believe the systems have been outdated. You can also create your own application or suggestion system with custom questions with custom forms, a very good alternative.

I will make some updates to the custom form system, for example to be able to give a user a role after the form and I will also increase the limit of 3 questions to 5. (Discord limit) Please note that these changes have not been made yet.

I will disable the system in one of the following days, meaning it will stop working if you have it enabled on your server.

Auto Purge - December 31st, 2024

I have added a new system to InfinityBot: Auto purge! Auto purge will automatically clean a channel's messages after a selected amount of time. Use the new /auto-purge-setup command to set up the system. You can select 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours or a day as time.

A page in the docs will be added soon!

Poll Update - December 19th, 2024

We have updated the poll system! Here are all of the changes:

You can now start ABC polls with A B C D E questions instead of just yes / no.
Users with the admin permission can now also end polls.
Updated the poll page in the documentation.
Fixed some other bugs in the system.

You can start a poll with the /poll command.

Translation update; Auto Translate Added! - December 11th, 2024

Auto translate is helpful if you need to quickly translate a message, you can set it up with the /translation-setup command.

After you have set it up, you can simply send a message in a channel to translate it to English.

I have also updated the logic used to select channels with the setup command, you now get menus instead of options.

We have also updated the translation document, make sure to check it for more information!

Server setup command removal

I have removed the /server-setup command because it's a lot of work to maintain a command like that with all feature changes. We will be looking for a replacement command but for now there is none.

New command: /timer

It's just a small command that counts the amount of seconds or hours between you starting and stopping it.

New Prefix Commands - November 28th, 2024

We have added a few new prefix commands for moderation for those that prefer prefix over the slash commands.

The new commands:

!mute @user (1m, 10m, 1h, 1d, 7d) reason, mute a user by mentioning them.
!kick @user reason, kick a user by mentioning them.
!ban @user reason, ban a user by mentioning them.

The reason and time are both optional, if you don't provide a reason, the reason will be set to "No reason provided." The time (mute only) will be set to 10 minutes.

Remember that you can get a list with all prefix commands by sending !prefix in chat.

We also have slash commands for these prefix commands if you prefer them: (not new)

/mute add
/kick
/ban add

Animated Emoji's Without Nitro - Thread Support - November 27th, 2024

The animated emoji's without nitro system now also works in threads and form posts. This was a limitation for a long time but has finally been added!

This feature has been enabled by default, you can manage it with the /animated-emojis-setup command.

To use this system, simply type `:blob:` in a channel. You can replace `blob` with the name of one of your own emoji's from the same server or from the emoji pack.

View Thread Perms - November 12th, 2024

Do you also think it is way too annoying to manually add & remove users with a specific role from a thread? Well not anymore!

We now have the view thread permission system. It will automatically add (and remove) users that don't have a specific role. You can set it up with the /view-thread-perms-setup command. With that command, you can select a thread to run this system on, a role that users should have and whether or not you want to allow users without the role to view the thread once they are added to it.

Question Of The Day Change - November 1st, 2024

After some time, we have changed the way the Question Of The Day (QOTD) system works. Here are the changes made:

QOTD and Eat Or Yeet (EOY) have been made FREE. They have been removed from the premium subscriptions, meaning EVERYONE can now use it.
The trigger of the 2 systems have been changed. A member will now need to send a message in the server, if 24 hours have passed, the bot will send you a question and/or a nice meal
The setup command has been changed.
We will be making some other changes on the system in the coming days.

You can set up the QOTD and EOY systems with the `/question-of-the-day-setup` command.

If you already have a QOTD and/or EOY setup, this will not be reset.

As it is very hard to test this system, we ask everyone to report bugs in our support server if you see any.

Automatic Channel Slowmode Editor - October 22nd, 2024

We have added a system that will automatically change the seconds of cooldown (slowmode) in a channel if there are more messages being send per minute. This is very useful for for example big servers!

You can set up this new system with the /slowmode-editor-setup command.

It will then:

Increase the slowmode when more messages are being send per minute
Decrease the slowmode when less messages are being send per minute

New Game: One Word Story - October 11th, 2024

We have added a new game to InfinityBot: one-word-story!

The goal of the game is to create a long story with all members of a server but using only one word every time.

If you want to set up this new game in a channel, you can do so with the `/one-word-story setup` command.

Here are all new commands regarding this game that you can use:

/one-word-story setup, this command can be used to enable or disable the game. You can also select a channel for the game with it.
/one-word-story list, this command is used to show up to 50 last words of your server's story.
/one-word-story ban, this command can be used to (un)blacklist users from the game.

Count Update - September 30th, 2024

Hello everyone, I'm back!! I have made a few updates on the count system of InfinityBot!

You can now count with math! Simply do 1+1 or 4-2.
You can now also select custom emoji's!
Lastly I have added an 'I can't count' role, this role will be given to users that counted incorrectly.

You can set up all those changes with the `/count setup` command!

If you would like to enable the counting system on your server, you can do so with the `/count setup` command!

User Report Update - September 27th, 2024

We have updated the report system from InfinityBot! Here are all new things:

Changed the /report setup command, it's now only used for setting up the system.
Removed the report panel.
Added a new command: /report user. Users can use it to report another user from the server if you enabled it.
Reports will now be send to the channel that you have selected with the /report setup command.

InfinityBot Tickets Update - September 19th, 2024

We have been working hard to update our ticket system! You can read all updates below;

Removed the add member, remove member and rename ticket buttons
Added a new command to add users to a ticket, /ticket user-add
Simplified the ticket system to make sure it is easy and fast to use
Added a new option to the /ticket setup command where you can now select tickets to be threads (`ticket-type`)

Technical info:

Thread tickets can't be deleted with the bot, they will be stored in the ticket channel
Staff will always be pinged into a thread ticket, they should not get a mention though if you disabled it
/ticket user-add does not work in thread tickets, you can just ping users into them

To get these updates, please re-use the /ticket setup command.

Auto tag release - September 8th, 2024

We have released a new auto-tag feature! This new feature will automatically add tags to new form posts. You can set it up with the /auto-tag-setup command.

You will need to enter a tag ID, if you don't know how to get it, check out the documentation page.

You can now add other roles to new bots than to new users. You can set this up with the new option in the /welcome-setup command.

Global Chat Release

Do you want to have a chat that can reach multiple servers? You now can with the new global chat feature! You can set it up with the `/global-chat-setup` command, then you can send messages across multiple servers!

Anti Nuke Update - Verification - September 2nd, 2024

We have added a verification feature into InfinityBot Antinuke! Verification can be used to make it harder to do user bot raids in a Discord server. You can set it up with the /setup verification command.

Added the /setup verification command to set up the verification system
You can now use /setup perm-verify to select a role that you want to allow to manage verifications
Added the /verify manual command, users with the verify perms can manually verify users with it
Added the /verify sync-channel command, you can use it in a channel to make sure unverified users can no longer send messages
Added an event that will add the unverified role to users on join
Added an event that will make sure unverified users can't send messages

Other updates:

You can now select a specific log channel for all Anti Raid features with the `/setup anti-raid-log-channel` command. (You will no longer need to use the Anti Nuke log channel for it, if you don't select one, it will still use the Anti Nuke log channel)
You can now toggle basic Anti Nuke features
You can now toggle channel deletion protection (/toggle channel-anti-nuke)
You can now toggle role deletion protection (/toggle role-anti-nuke)
You can now toggle kick, ban & unban protection (/toggle user-anti-nuke)
Split up /config into multiple categories to prevent the command from breaking

The translation feature is back! - August 24th, 2024

We have been working hard to get our translation feature back, and it has been finished!

You can now set up your 2 translation chain channels with the new /setup-translation command. The bot will then translate any messages that are non english from the start channel and send them to the destination channel. If you have any issues or questions, feel free to ask in the support server!

AntiNuke Lockdown Update - August 18th, 2024

We have updated our lockdown features in Anti Nuke. You can see all changes below:

Added a permission: lockdown permissions. You can set this up with the /setup perm-lockdown command.
You can now use /setup lockdown-channel to create a lockdown channel where users with the lockdown permission can lockdown the server with a simple button press.
Added a command (/antiraid channel-lockdown) to lock all channels in a server.
Added a command (/antiraid channel-lockdown-remove) to unlock all channels in a server.
Added the permission and lockdown channel data to /help and /config

Unauthorized bot protection - August 5th, 2024

We have added some stuff regarding unauthorized bot protection, meaning InfinityBot Antinuke will protect your server from bots being added by unauthorized staff. At this moment, only the server owner and extra owners are allowed to add bots, ad this can not be changed at the moment. Below you can read what we have added:

Added a log for when a bot is added to a server
Added a feature that will check by who the bot has been added and kicks the bot if needed
This feature can be disabled with the new /toggle unauthorized-bot-protection command
Made the necessary changes to /config

This feature has been enabled by default, but if you would like to disable it, you can do so with the /toggle unauthorized-bot-protection command.

Unban Logs - August 1st, 2024

If a user unbans a user it will now also be logged by InfinityBot! You can enable this with /log-setup but if you already got this enabled you don't have to do anything anymore!

Server Invites Protection - July 19th, 2024

You can now protect your server invites from being deleted with InfinityBot Antinuke! Below is everything that we have added:

Added a trigger for the bot to respond on server invite deletions.
Added the /toggle invite-anti-nuke command, you can disable the feature with this command.
Added an "Extra Toggles" head in /config for all upcoming toggles.
Added all associated stuff to /config, /max and /help.
You don't need to do anything to enable this new feature, but if you wish to disable it, you can do so with /toggle invite-anti-nuke.

Anti Nuke Unban Protection - July 18th, 2024

We have added a few new features regarding the unban protection:

Unban heath separated from user (kick/ban) heath
Added a separate unban permission
Added an option in the /setup perm-kick-ban command to set up the unban permission
Added the permission as a separate step in /setup antinuke
Added an option to /setup max to select a max amount of unbans before action is taken
The bot also tracks unbans that are not done trough the bot's commands

Other stuff:

Fixed some bugs in all systems of the bot
Invite protection will be added soon!
Backups may be added soon!

Ghost ping blocker added! - July 16th, 2024

Are you tired of users ghost pinging other users all the time? You can now enable a blocker that will detect ghost pings and mute users if they ghost ping too many users with /setup blocker!

2 new blockers added! - July 11st, 2024

We have added 2 new blockers for everyone to use! If you would like to set these up, you can do so with /setup blocker. Read below what has been added!

Added a sub text blocker, this blocker will delete any messages that contain sub text.
Added a masked link blocker, this blocker will delete any messages that contain masked links.
Resolved some bugs from other blockers

New check MFA (2FA) command - July 9th, 2024

The new /check mfa command allows you to easily check the MFA status of your server. If it's not enabled, the command will provide you a short guide on how to enable it.

Anti mention spam AutoMod - July 7th, 2024

You can now enable an extra layer of protection for your server with a simple command: /setup anti-mention-spam.

The bot will then create the AutoMod rule for you!

New Anti Raid feature: prevent `@everyone` mention spam

Added a new permission to make sure users don't spam mention `@everyone`, `@here`, and roles.

You can select a role that you want to allow to mention `@everyone` with the new /setup perm-mention-everyone command. They can then use the /mention-everyone command to mention `@everyone`, `@here` or a role.

AntiRaid: User panic mode! - June 28th, 2024

Did you get hacked or is there something else why your account is not safe? Run /panic to prevent any message spam by your account! When activated, "panic mode" will delete any message that your account sends in a server where InfinityBot Antinuke is present. (No matter what permission you have) You can simply disable panic mode again by running /panic again or by pressing one of the disable buttons provided to you.

Auto-responder setup made easy with InfinityBot - June 27th, 2024

We've launched a new feature auto-responder with 5 available triggers for you:) Get started easily by using the command /autoresponder setup command and follow initial steps (it's very self-explainatory), try out now and let us know if it works

Anti Raid update - June 25th, 2024

The Anti Raid system just got a huge update! You can read more bellow.

(The Anti Raid bot is InfinityBot Antinuke)

AntiRaid Updates

You can now use /setup antiraid to set up Anti Raid just like you would with Anti Nuke.
You can turn Anti Raid on and off with the new /antiraid on-off command.
You can now select an emergency role with the new /setup antiraid-ping-role command. This role will be pinged when a raid is suspected to happen.
Anti Raid now protects your server from spam raiders and join raids.
You can now use !Q in chat (as prefix command) to lockdown your server very fast. You can also still use the old commands for it. If you used the !Q command you can disable the lockdown again with the /antiraid lockdown-remove command.

AntiNuke Updates

Bots will now be 'quarantined' on join. This 'quarantine' will be automatically removed after ~1 hour. If the bot deleted any channels, roles or users when in 'quarantine', they will be instantly kicked. Note that you can also remove the 'quarantine' manually with the /quarantine remove command before the hour runs out.
AntiNuke now also protects your threads! It has the same heath and max deletion count as normal channels.

Another small AntiNuke Update

Added 2 new commands to put a server in lockdown. (/antiraid lockdown) This will disable:
New DMs
New users from joining
Messages from being send (Exclusive users with manage-server perms)
All moderation commands in the bot (Exclusive /user ban & /user kick)

You can disable the lockdown with the /antiraid lockdown-remove command.

Added a new command /user unban, previously unbanning was an option in /user ban but that gave too much bugs.

Get InfinityBot updates in your server! - June 23rd, 2024

Want to get updates from InfinityBot directly into your server? You now can with the new `/updates follow` command! This will automatically send any updates to the selected channel.

You can also get the 3 latest updates with the new /updates last command.

Small AntiNuke Update - June 19th, 2024

Bellow are a few small updates that I have made to AntiNuke:

Added the `add & remove user role` permission, this new permission allows users to add and remove roles from other users, but not delete or create them. Note that the `manage roles` permission can also still add and remove roles with the command.
Added a command to set the maximum amount of channels, roles and users that a mod can delete in an hour. This will be default set to 3 when you add the bot to your server. (/setup max)
Changed the /extra-owner command to /setup extra-owner and set it to the setup command section in /help -> command list.

Emoji Pack - June 17th, 2024

After a very good suggestion we have added an emoji pack with animated emoji's that you can use in every server where InfinityBot is too without nitro! You can get a list of all emoji's with the !emojis command, there may be added more soon! Note: Users need the use external emojis permission to use the pack!

AntiSpam Bug Fix - June 16th, 2024

We have solved a bug that caused the AntiSpam system to ignore the channel where you enabled the system.

If you have any channels that are ignored by the system but shouldn't be, please reset the system. You can do so by disabling the AntiSpam system with the setup command, the re-enabling it again. Sorry for this inconvenience! (Thanks to Nauraus :) )

Emoji pack added - June 14th, 2024

Users need the `use external emojis` permission to use the pack!

Want to use animated emoji's without nitro? You now can with InfinityBot! - June 11, 2024

We have added a feature for every InfinityBot user to be able to use animated emoji's without nitro! This feature has been enabled by default, but if you would like to turn if off you can do so with the /animated-emojis-setup command.

How to use it

If you have nitro, you can use animated emoji's anyway so this will not affect you.
If you do not have nitro, you can just type the emoji name like this: `:emojiname:`. InfinityBot will then replace your message with the animated emoji!

Limitations

Unfortunately, there are 3 limitations;

You can not use emoji's from other servers.
You can't use this feature in threads.
You can only use 1 animated emoji per message. We are looking for a way to resolve that, but for now it's only one.

A new feature just landed!? - June 3th, 2024

Yep, we are now introducing the new information message with custom branding feature!

Information messages with embed sent with your own branding has been quite popular nowadays and as a response to that trend, InfinityBot now enables you to do so!

You can use the /info-message create command to create an information message that looks like your own custom bot!

fully manipulate your embed with a user icon, custom username, the embed content and footer icon, too!

InfinityBot Anti Nuke is here! - May 17, 2024

After almost 2 months of development time the Anti Nuke system has finally came out of BETA! Within just 5 minutes your server can be fully protected with this bot, which is super easy to set up but still very powerful.

How to set it up

We did create a 'new' bot for AntiNuke to make sure your server protection has the lowest latency. You can invite the new bot here.

After adding the bot to your server with the link above, you can run the `/setup` command to set up the bot, the bot will then guide you trough the setup.

It really took some time to create this bot so I would really appreciate if you guys would check it out. If you happen to get any bugs, feel free to report them in the support server!

Message pin blocker - May 8th, 2024

Are you tired of your staff with `manage_messages` permission pinning messages all the time? Now you can block that with the new option in /setup blocker!

Announcement - May 4th, 2024

The level reward roles have been expanded, you can now not only give reward roles from level 5 to level 100, but now also for levels 125, 150, 175 and 200!

New reaction blocker - May 3rd, 2024

You can now set up the new reaction blocker with the new option in the /setup blocker command! This system will block selected emoji's when they are added to a message as a reaction.

Here is how you can set it up:

First, use the blocker setup command in your server, select the new `Enable reaction blocker` option, then select a log channel and an whitelist role. When you run the command, you should get one hidden reply telling you that the system has been set up and one normal message. You can react with emoji's to that last message to add them to the trigger list. If you wish to delete any emoji's from the trigger list, just react with that emoji again. Make sure InfinityBot has `view_channel` and `send_message` permissions for the channel where you use the command!

Adding or removing emoji's from the trigger list requires the `manage_guild` permission.

This feature require the `manage_messages` or `administrator` permissions for InfinityBot.

Poll Blocker - April 16th, 2024

Since Discord does not have a way to block polls, we have created a system to do it for you in your server! You can enable the system with the /blocker-setup command!

Update customizable content welcome & level messages - April 8th, 2024

We have made changes to the customizable content for the welcome, leave, boost and level up messages. You can now use some variables to use user-specific text in your custom messages:

[user] - To get the user mention of the user that triggered it. (Works for welcome, leave, boost & level up messages)

[user_name] - To get the user name of the user that triggered it. (Works for welcome, leave, boost & level up messages)

[server] - To get the server name. (Works for welcome, leave, boost & level up messages)

[members] - To get the member count of the server. (Works for welcome & leave messages)

[level] - To get the level that the user leveled up to. (Works for level up messages)

If you have enabled welcome, leave, boost or a custom level up message in your server at this moment, please run the setup commands again, as there will be no user mention anymore in the old system.

AFK System - March 31, 2024

Tired of getting pinged whenever you are away for a few mins? Well now you can set your status to AFK with the new `/afk` command! When someone pings you while you are afk, they will be informed right after they do so!

How do I set up?

You can set it up easily by using the command /afk, for example, /afk action: set AFK status and you are good to go!

Transcript Command - March 28th, 2024

You can now get the last 50 messages from a channel with the new /transcript command! Note that you will not be able to download the transcript.

Lockdown command - March 20th, 2024

With the new /lockdown command you can enable Security Actions in your server very fast and easily! You can both block new members from joining and block any new DM's from being send. (Both very useful for raid protection)

Announcements - March 16th, 2024

We have added banners to InfinityBot & InfinityBot Premium, but we will change them to something better somewhere this week.

Logs update

We have added some stuff to our log system:

Added a log: message update (when a message has been edited)
Added a log: user kick (when a user is kicked from the server)
Added a "undo" button to deleted channel logs
Added a "undo" button to deleted role logs

When you already have logs enabled, you will automatically get this update, if you do not have logs, you can enable them with the `/log-setup` command!

Dead Chat Ping feature

We have added a feature that allows your members to ping a selected role when your chat goes silent and they want to talk. There is a ~30 minutes cooldown on the ping command that makes sure users can't spam ping the role. You can setup and use this new feature with the commands bellow:

/dead-chat setup -Setup the system and select a role that you want to make pingable.

/dead-chat blacklist -Blacklist users from the system

/dead-chat ping -Ping the role! (~30 min cooldown)

Announcements - March 10, 2024

Auto cross post

this feature will automatically publish any messages sent in an announcement channel! You can use /setup auto-publisher to enable this feature, every server can select a max of 3 channels to auto-publish.

Another new feature!

We have another new feature: Translation. This feature allows you to add 2 bridge channels, which will translate to each other, however this feature is still in BETA, so it may bug a little bit. Use /translate-setup to set up the system.

New feature: Logs

We have finished our new feature! These logs work on: channel deletion, message deletion, role deletion, thread deletion, member ban and for Premium users also unboost! You can use /log-setup to enable logs in your server!

Mention Spam

Mention spam has been added to the AntiSpam system!

You now also can make the AntiSpam system ignore one channel (For example, your spam channel)

Announcement - February 27th, 2024

Little update for the AntiSpam;

There are now buttons under a log message when someone gets timed out for spamming, with these buttons, staff (with the right permission) can mark the log as solved, warn, timeout (for a longer time), remove timeout, kick and ban the user.
The system will also be triggered when a user sends multiple of the same messages, they don't have to send the messages in a very short amount of time.
There will now be a link in every log to jump to the message that triggered the system.

You do not have to re-enable the system to get these updates.

Anti-Spam - February 23rd, 2024

We have been developing another new feature lately, anti spam! This feature will auto timeout users when they spam in your server. This feature is still in beta, so it could give some false positives, if it does, you can report them in the support server. The system can be easyally enabled for any server with the /antispam-setup command!
