⚠️Backup Commands

Backups will allow you to create a backup of your server's channels, roles and users!

This system has been deleted and will not work anymore. Please read this page for more information.

Backups are still in development, meaning you can not use them at the moment. Keep an eye out for the changelog channel!

Create a New Channel & Role Backup

With the /backup create command you can create a new backup from your server channels and roles.

If you create a new backup, it will overwrite the previous backup, meaning it will be deleted.

Setup the User Backup System

With the /setup user-backup command you can set up the user backup system. This system requires new users to verify themselves with the verification panel. This is because InfinityBot needs the "join servers for you" permission from a user to be able to create this backup. Any user that did not verify themselves or that has unauthorized me will not be in the backup of your server.

Command Option Name	Function
action	With this option you can select the action that you would like to take.
verification-channel	With this option you can select your new verification channel where the panel should be send to.
verified-role	With this option you can select what role a user should get when they complete verification.

The "join servers for you" permission is used by a lot of scam bots on Discord. Enabling this feature could cause some distrust among your server members.

InfinityBot has security systems that make sure admins can not make a user re-join if they left, only if they have been kicked or banned from the server.

Load a Backup

With the /backup load command you can load a channel, role or user backup that you have saved earlier.
